Bryan Hendricks, PsyD
Dr. Bryan Hendricks is a licensed psychologist in New Jersey and is also a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. He earned both his bachelor’s degree in Psychology and his masters degree in School Psychology at Rowan University. He also earned certification as an Educational Specialist at Rowan. While working as a school psychologist, he continued his education to earn his doctorate in Psychology from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). He completed his postdoctoral fellowship at the Neurobehavioral Wellness Center in Swedesboro, NJ, performing neuropsychological evaluations as well as psychotherapy for children and adults. Dr. Hendricks continues to work as a school psychologist in the Clearview Regional School District in Mullica Hill, NJ as well as act as a consulting school psychologist for the Gloucester County Special Services School District. In 2014, he won the PCOM Psychology Department Advocacy, Leadership and Service Award. In 2015/2016, he won Educational Service Provider of the Year from the Clearview district because of his tireless dedication to being a “Rock Star School Psychologist (his words),” and for providing exceptional support and services for parents and students (the district’s words). He won the same award in the 2018/19 academic year from Gloucester County Special Services School District, because he is just that good. He is also an adjunct professor at Rowan University, teaching various psychology courses, and has taught courses at Camden County College and PCOM as well.
Dr. Hendrick’s clinical work is devoted to the treatment of adults, adolescents, and children. He specializes in using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) but therapy approaches and techniques are tailored to the specific needs of each individual. Areas of interest include the treatment of anxiety and depression across the age span, executive coaching, parenting strategies, social skills training, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), assessment for learning disabilities, and special education procedures and law. We are lucky to work with Dr. Hendricks, as he brings his commitment to high quality mental health treatment, school psychology and special education experience and humor into everything he does. Sometimes it’s hard to know when he’s joking because he has such a dry sense of humor, but we’re getting better at it. He wants everyone to know he is not all about work, and that he also likes sports, travel and especially Disney.
